The hotel was beautiful and the onsen was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. For the kaiseki dinner, most of the food was great, but the shabushabu was lacking in meat.

First time try this ossen hotel. But have a good experience..love it..service excellent. Since typhoon we arrived 330am, the staff still waiting us to check in. Many thanks.
Food breakfast and dinner very good.

The hotel’s location is its biggest advantage—it’s conveniently situated near public transport, making it easy to explore the city. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which is a major plus.
**Facilities: 2/5**
Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels quite dated. The furniture, decor, and amenities are old and could use an upgrade. The onsen (hot spring) was decent, but the overall maintenance of the facility didn’t meet modern expectations.
**Room & Comfort: 3/5**
We stayed in a room for four people, which was spacious enough, but the lack of individual keys was inconvenient—only one key was provided for the whole group. The beds and futons were comfortable, but the room showed signs of wear and tear.
**Service: 3.5/5**
The staff were polite and helpful, though not exceptionally attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, but there wasn’t much extra service or hospitality offered.
**Value for Money: 3/5**
Given the prime location, the price was reasonable, but the outdated facilities make it feel overpriced. If you’re only looking for a convenient place to sleep, it’s acceptable, but don’t expect luxury or modern comforts.

嵐山駅から降りてすぐ目の前にあるのでとても利便性が良いです。温泉も大浴場の他に貸切温泉が５つあり、たくさん楽しめました。またお風呂上がりやちょっとした時間でアイスやみたらし団子や飲み物もサービスで貰えるので嬉しかったです。夜には夜鳴きそばも貰えます。また嵐山に来た時は利用します。
